California’s county superintendents commend the Governor’s continued commitment to California’s nearly six million TK–12 students and the recognition of the critical role schools play in supporting children, families, and communities. As county superintendents, we underscore the importance of the proposed investments in universal and targeted assistance, community schools, special education, and expanded learning—all areas essential to student achievement and whole child support.
