Today, Governor Newsom delivered his State of the State Address, highlighting a $248 billion general fund budget, $42.3 billion higher than previously forecasted, with historic investments in California's education system and a significant proposal to modernize education governance statewide.

The release of the 2025 Dashboard data affirms that California’s Statewide System of Support is making a measurable difference, reflecting both the progress students are achieving and the continued opportunities to strengthen learning outcomes. Teaching and learning remain at the heart of our work, ensuring that every student—regardless of background or circumstance—has access to high-quality instruction and the support needed to reach their full potential.
