Federal Advocacy Trip (Spring 2026).
Fall Federal Advocacy Trip: The Superintendents are going to Washington D.C. from March 16-19. For travel planning purposes, March 16 is reserved as a travel day. We begin with an orientation on the morning of March 17 at our hotel. This allows for a half-day of orientation and two full days of advocacy meetings. Federal Advocacy Trip (Spring 2024).
Attendees of the Spring 2024 Federal Advocacy Trip shared highlights and reflections from their advocacy visit to Washington , D.C. on March 5-8. The nine county superintendents that attended the trip participated in a total of 27 meetings with members of Congress and/or their staff and agencies including the U.S. Department of Education, Federal Communications Commission, and the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency.
